Aervivo expands the AerSwitch™ family; allows owners of smaller multifamily buildings to cost effectively deliver outstanding managed WiFi experiences

SAN DIEGO, Calif -- Aervivo announced today that it expanded the 10Gbps AerSwitch family to include support for a smaller 24 Ethernet port option. The latest addition to the family allows Aervivo’s partners to rapidly and more economically deliver multi-Gbps Internet to smaller buildings in communities where fiber already exists between buildings or can be installed cost-effectively.

The AerSwitch 24 port version complements Aervivo’s 48 port AerSwitch launched earlier this year along with Aervivo's groundbreaking AerHub™, all part of the growing Aervivo Hybrid Edge™ suite of networking devices. Aervivo’s Partners can now quickly and efficiently deliver managed, community-wide WiFi experiences across both existing and new build communities using a combination of multi-Gbps wireless or fiber distribution network, all powered by a single platform and partner.

Being fully integrated with the Aervivo Cloud, the AerSwitch supports plug and play zero-touch provisioning. No laptops are needed to configure any of the Aervivo Hybrid Edge devices making installation and maintenance a breeze.

The AerSwitch hardware is provided by FS.com, leveraging their S5800 platform, running Aervivo’s patented software stack allowing it to integrate seamlessly with the Aervivo Cloud. Each AerSwitch has multiple 10Gbps upstream ports allowing ring or mesh topologies for added redundancy within a community.
